Hook Lane
Street guide, Bognor Regis
Hook Lane runs from the eastern side of Felpham towards Middleton-on-Sea, forming one of the routes between these two settlements. The lane has a mixed character, with established residential properties in the Felpham section and more open stretches further east. The road is used by local traffic moving between Felpham, Middleton, and the surrounding residential areas. Housing along Hook Lane is a mix of periods, including some older cottages alongside inter-war and post-war development. The lane passes close to open land and playing fields, providing a sense of space that is less evident in the more densely built streets closer to the town centre. Hook Lane connects to the wider road network via Felpham Road and Limmer Lane, and provides access to the eastern residential areas of the Bognor district. The lane is well used by pedestrians and cyclists as well as motor traffic.
