War Memorial
Historic Site, Bognor Regis
The Bognor Regis War Memorial stands on the Esplanade in the form of a clock tower, commemorating the residents of the town who died in the First and Second World Wars. The memorial is a prominent seafront landmark, visible from along the promenade. Remembrance services are held at the memorial each November. The clock tower design is distinctive among south coast war memorials, most of which take the form of crosses or obelisks. The memorial stands at the heart of the seafront and serves as a meeting point and landmark for visitors and residents.
