St Wilfrid's Church Felpham
Church, Bognor Regis
St Wilfrid's Church is the medieval parish church of Felpham, standing at the centre of the old village. The church dates from the twelfth century, with later medieval and Victorian additions and restorations. The building is constructed of flint with stone dressings, typical of Sussex churches. The churchyard contains memorials spanning several centuries. St Wilfrid's is an active Church of England parish church with regular services. William Blake worshipped here during his time in Felpham. The church and its churchyard provide a sense of the village's long history, predating by many centuries the seaside resort that grew up around it.
