Aldwick Beach
Beach & Seafront, Bognor Regis
Aldwick Beach is a shingle beach to the west of Bognor Regis town centre, stretching along the coastline towards Pagham. The beach is quieter than the main Bognor beach and is popular with local residents who prefer a less crowded stretch of coast. Beach huts line sections of the shore, and the area has a residential rather than resort character. The beach is backed by Marine Drive West and the residential streets of Aldwick. At low tide, rock pools are exposed. The beach provides access to the coastal path towards Pagham Harbour nature reserve. Swimming is possible, though the beach shelves gradually and is affected by tidal conditions.
